朱元鴻，國立陽明交通大學社會與文化研究所教授，著有《我們活在不同的世界》以及約廿餘篇期刊論文，編有《孔恩：評論集》（與傅大為合編），主編《理論與當代戰爭》麥田翻譯書系（2003-2010），《文化研究》創刊主編（2003-2011）。研究興趣包括社會思想史、當代社會文化理論、都市民族誌。

Prof. Chu is a professor at the Institute of Social Research and Culture Studies, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. He is the author of "We Live in a Different World" and more than 20 journal articles, and edited "Kong En: A Collection of Comments" (co-edited with Fu, Dawei), chief editor of "Theory and Contemporary War" (2003-2010), editor-in-chief of "Cultural Studies" (2003-2011). Research interests include the history of social thought, contemporary sociocultural theory, and urban ethnography.
